Thank you to all the artists who helped with the program. In 2005, we changed the event to A Taste for Art. Gallery for a Day provided an opportunity for members of and visitors to our community to Celebrate The Arts by encouraging the participation within the arts through activities, volunteer opportunities and art awareness, while increasing our community pride Gallery for a day is designed to provide an opportunity for local artists to showcase their talents and help increase the art awareness for our community. On September 18, 2004, from 10am to 5pm, the Uptown Westerville district played host to a variety of arts and the whole Uptown area became a "Gallery for a Day". Our emphasis was on educating about and "showing" off our local talent. Artists were encouraged to display a variety of their work, provide information about themselves and demonstrate if desired.
