Membership Benefits - 2008

The following membership benefits are available for any patron, artist and/or teacher who has paid in full the annual membership fee or otherwise noted on their individual contracts. (Membership fee is subject to change but as of January 2008, $150/year payable in 5 monthly payments.)

Membership includes:

1. May sell artwork in the gallery, access to Visa/Mc
2. Receive 10% off artwork in the Gift Shop area and Exhibits depending upon the exhibit. 
3. May participate in special events/classes at a lower fee or for free depending upon the event in the gallery and with Gallery 202 community events.
4. May have first option for events that have limited vendors or restrictions.
5. May conduct workshops/classes in the gallery with a reduce fee.
6. Eligible for reduction in commission fee by volunteering 8hr/months – (must include a Saturday – minimum 4 hours/day)
7. May be eligible for their own art exhibit.
8. Web site presence.
9. Press releases/ email newsletter opportunities and notices.
10. May lease the gallery for personal events at a reduce fee.
11. May work on their artwork in the gallery and have limited temporary (no more than 1 month/every three months) storage space if needed.
12. Have as much coffee as you want or is available!
13. You may purchase additional artwork insurance from our insurer.

Gallery 202, Partners in Art, Inc. specializes in community art programs for all ages and encourages the interaction between Artists, Patrons and Businesses.  We are a 501.c3 community arts non profit organization. Donations (sorry not memberships) are tax deductible to the extent of the law.

Gallery 202Goals are to:
1. Provide venues for the interaction between businesses and artists to promote, showcase or develop artistic abilities. The Westerville Area is currently does not have many venues for showcasing artists and their artworks, By working with the schools, libraries, businesses etc., Gallery 202 organizes and promotes interactive business/artist relationships for social and community improvement
2. Provide opportunities for interactive programs between schools and businesses to promote, showcase and develop artistic abilities of children. Funding for the arts in the schools in this area has been severely reduced and many art programs especially at the elementary and middle school levels have been removed from the curriculum. Gallery 202 provides program, consultation, support for school age children within the schools and outside the schools.
3. Provide opportunities to encourage the artistic discovery of the lay persons in return encouraging an understanding and overall support for the community and its artists.
4. Provide opportunities for the preservation of the arts in all aspects in the processes involved in art and the end products (artworks, music scripts, photos etc.)
