Gift shop requirements:

1.              All artists must be the sole originator of their work, that it is original and/or prints must be listed as how they are created/printed.

2.  All hanging artwork must be ready to hang – no plastic clips or saw tooth hangers.  All other artwork must be constructed to prevent breakage if/when handled in a normal fashion.

3.  Basic insurance is provided on the space – artists may opt to have their own insurance on their artwork.

4.  Artist agree to not place similar artwork for sale/show within a 5 mile radius without informing Gallery 202, Partners in Art., Inc.  Any artwork for sale within a 5 mile radius is subject to commission rate as agreed upon between gallery and artists.  Any artwork for show only must include information stating that this artwork can be seen at Gallery 202, co-op including website/phone/address.

5.  Artists must have their own vendors license.

6.  Contracts are valid for ___ year(s), and we reserve the right to change fees/commission rate at the end of the contract.  Contracts renewed may be subject to the change/difference in non-refundable fee.

7. Non-refundable set up fee of  $____ - payable in ___equal installments for the first __ months of the contract unless otherwise agreed upon by the Gallery and Artist.

              a.  Once non-refundable is received in full, artist will be given web page presence and where appropriate will be given press as needed.  The artist agrees to allow photos to be taken of their artwork and used for press/web as needed.  Original artwork in the gallery is copyrighted to the artist.

                            b. Commission is ____________.

                            c.  Any collected sales taxes are the responsibility of the artists.  Any charges due to credit  charges are also the responsibility of the artists.

              d. Artists are paid within 90 days of sale or sooner.  Artists must inform the gallery of any address change.  Checks returned//lost due to wrong address will re-issued minus a $25 charge.  Artist may elect to pick up checks/payments  directly from the gallery.

              e.  All artists are required to maintain an on premise inventory sheet.  The Gallery is not responsible for lost/breakage of items not on the inventory sheet.

              f.  All artists must use the gallery tags and are responsible for making sure the correct price is listed on each piece.  The Gallery is not responsible for miss priced items.
