Saturday Classes- Below is group classes for three weeks sessions. Please note that all materials are provided for these classes.(Coupon information)

Unless stated - Regular Price for Class is $60/3 week session and all supplies included.

__September 11, 18, 25 for 5-7 yr old 1-2pm. Bugs, critters and a few unusual animals -create in the style of artists such as John James Audubon, Keith Haring, and Edward Hicks -from drawings to collages, create a menagerie in this three week session. $60, all materials included -take home a ZOO!

__September 11, 18, 25 for 8-12 yr old 2-3pm. Drawing faces/people. Using a variety of materials learn how to create the human face while experimenting with a variety of artist styles. Bring pictures of your family or friends. $60 for 3 sessions, all materials included and take home portraits -some funny, some serious!

__October 9, 16, 23 -__ ages 5-7 1-2 pm __Ages 8-12, 2-3pm Pop ART -from Warhol to Lichtenstein -create imaginative pop art using images from everyday objects -soup cans to comic strips. Drawings to sculptures in this three week session. $60, all materials included

__Nov 6, 13, 20 __ ages 5-7 1-2 pm__Ages 8-12 2-3 pm - "See Through Collages" in the style of Tiffany and Frank Lloyd Wright. -create fun designs and hanging art -great for gifts too! All materials included $60 for 3 sessions.

__December 4, 11, 18 q ages 5-7 1-2pm __8-12, 2-3pm Last minute art gifts. Create gifts for your family/friends -for dad, mom, sister and/or brother. Real Art -but itís a secret until the holidays! All materials included $60 for 3 sessions.

__January 8, 15, 22 -ages 5-7 1-2 pm and -ages 8-12 2-3 pm Realism vs Abstract. Start with a realistic drawing and turn it into a cool abstract. Using a variety of materials create a abstract with sound fundamental design/drawing principles. $60, all materials included

Creative Minds Open Art Studio - New This Year for 2-6yr olds! Creative Minds Open Art Studio Pricing - $8 for a 1 day pass, $70 for a 10 Admissions Punch Card (to be used within 90 days of purchase). 9:30-11:30 begininng Sept 7th, 2010

Included in a 1 day pass is full-access to the Open Studio, Dramatic Play Area and Music Nook, as well as full use of all available art supplies and resources. Also included is individualized art instruction for a different craft project every day. Reservations are encouraged, but not mandatory.

10/17: HELPING HANDS WORKSHOP : Fairy Houses, Gnome Huts, Bird Houses, Oh My!

Do you have fairies in your backyard? Or gnomes scurrying about behind the trees? Create a place of residence for your new friends! Using wire, sticks and leaves, use your imagination to design a home fit for the outdoors! We will read a story featuring a homemade fairy house, as well as have other children’s book to broaden the design-experience!

11/21: HELPING HANDS WORKSHOP : Crayon Batik

Design your own wall hanging using the Batik Technique! You and your child will develop a design narrating the word “Family.” (Although other designs are welcome as well) What does family mean? What colors? If you were an animal, what would you be? And why? There will be lots of questions floating around to ask one another and help brainstorm your picture. Once the final design is completed, along with designated color areas, we will transfer this image onto the fabric and begin the batik process! Using melted crayons bits divided by color in muffin pans, dip your paintbrush into the wax and “paint” it directly onto the fabric. Once this is completed and cooled down, bring your project to the dying table and dip your piece into the color of your choice. This will need to dry hanging up overnight. Either you or the teacher will iron off the wax next week, finishing your collaborative piece!

Group Art classes for Kids - ages 5-12 yr old (this does not include birthday parties)
$100 for 10-19 young artists,
$150 for 20-30 kids, Additional $5 for each addtitional student

You choose the day or night! - 614-890-8202 programs@gallery202online.com We love to do group art classes - creating a take home art piece in a safe and educational environment. Classes last approximately 1-1/2 hrs.

Individual classes are available for $15/hr-ish/session for older students (12 and older).

Students are required to bring their own materials and past work for review. Students work is considered on an individual basis and worked towards the students own strengths and abilities.

We ask that student plan on working during the time with us and receive ongoing encourgement, education and support. From time to time, we will provide additional materials for exploration and will give students information on what materials to purchase.

Open young studio artist time is Wednesday and/or Thursday 3pm to 5:30pm weekly. Please RSVP with your time and date. Pay for 4 sessions and receive $5 off.

Please note, refunds are not given for pre paid classes. Classes must be taken within a 8 week period. Unless otherwise noted, by paying for classes, photos will be allowed to help promote these classes. Itex is available for full price only.

We are open to special group classes of 5 or more on a specific topic, birthday parties and scout classes.
