Classic Studio @ gallery 202

Classic Studio @ gallery 202 specializes in extraordinary, unique portraits that you will not find from any other photographer. Organized by former wire-service photographer Gary Gardiner, he and Shirlene Higbie of Photography by Shirlene, and Dennis Oder, who's uses his digital IT experience to explore the possibilities of small strobe portraits, can help you find the style of photography that best matches your needs.

The studio space, inside Gallery 202 at 38 N. State St. in Uptown Westerville, sits at the center of several other co-op artist's spaces actively creating their own work or teaching others how to become better artists.

Classic Studio @ gallery 202 is not only a great place for portraits from one of our resident photographers, it also is available for rent as one of the most eclectic work spaces a photographer searching for a unique environment for photographing their clients could ever find. We've several sets of studio strobes, lot of light modifiers, small strobes for portable shoots, a rather large photo book library for inspiration, and plenty of room to work with clients as you help them make selections from your book. Classic Studio @ gallery 202 is open at all times for any photographer to use as a working office space with clients. We have wireless, coffee, and lots of room.

Join us for Birthday Fun at Gallery 202 in Uptown Westerville

Gallery 202 provides a fun art activity while you set up for a birthday bash. All supplies are included for a 1 hour art activity. Cake and Ice cream/goodies are provided by you. $10/child/minimum 5 kids.

Dates: list several - Saturday after 3:30, Sunday all day, Tuesday-Fridays - after school or in the evening. Some other dates possible.

Model Class - Walk ins Welcomed - ($10/night)- Sessions start quarterly!

The Monday Open Session: Email us to see if there are more spaces available for the 6 sessions. The cost is $40 and walk-ins will pay $10 per night. 6:30 - 9:30pm

One pose for 4 weeks -

Models may be clothed, partially clothed or full nude. This is a closed class, must have a registration or call to see if there is room for drop-in students. (614-890-8202). All models sign releases and are of adult age.

From a budding artist and winner of PTA Reflections - Westerville had one national-level winner in 2004-5: Amy Cox from Mark Twain Elementary, who won an award of excellence in the primary division (preschool-grade 2) for her work of literature titled "Art Teacher."
