Gallery 202 April is Art- 2011 is our last year.
I appreciate the information on this year's effort. You have clearly put a tremendous amount of time and energy in pulling this program off each year for the benefit of Uptown. As you know, the City has considered for the past several years a program of coordinated banner placements for each of the seasons in Uptown and we started with the banners that were installed this winter.
We will soon be acquiring banners to be installed next Spring in Uptown as part of this planned program. I want to thank you again Renee for all you have done to help us make Uptown a special place.

This year, the City of Westerville is beginning their own banner program. As the next year progresses, the City will be providing banners for Uptown on a quarterly basis. We are unsure if our program will continue but for this year, we are excited to, once again, provide a fun community art project.
We will have 50 banners flying during April is Art, 2011.
In 2010, We ended up with over 50 banners - and many with special messages such as above!
In 2009, We ended up with 60 banners - from as young as 4 college students, girl scout troops, businesses and creative people of all abilities and ages.
