Gone Fishin

Our first project for the Mt Carmel St Ann is a fish mobile art sculpture with a variety of metal fish and their own unique stories of how they came to be titled -Gone Fishin.

Jerry states '"the whole project was possible through the generous donation of the community at large. All of the materials were donated by a coordinated effort of the community and the aritst".

And about his piece, he says:" Something that has been placed in my soul as an artist by our maker drives my life as an artist to create, the brush cries out to the paint, the canvas cries out to have a hidden image revealed. A piece of metal has a fish in it, that I must cut out, the wind blows wanting a set of chimes, the lady fair wants to be immortalized with pen and paper. The world cries out for colour, fragrance, song and beauty thru my hands and my heart.".
