Collection of artwork by the Passages Women's group incorporating the theme of journaling.
For one year, a group of women artists met to discuss ideas and progress related to our concept of journaling. Each artist was encouraged to explore how she wish to journal a part of her life. Regardless of whether it is developed by time, concept, and/or feelings, each artist was asked to complete a journal of their choice in such a way that the viewer may "read" and understand the story. The journals form was up to the artist and could be of a written, visual, dance, music and any combination form.
In addition, we will also display the works by other women artists who have been creating "Passages Artworks" of their own. Jonny Lifeson will be displaying her kinetic art and Allison Fritz will be displaying her large floor ceramic tile artwork titled Humanity.
