Yes Jackson accepted the mistake as part of the art making process. With his process oriented style of working, i think that allowed him to be free which in the end made his work truly a spontaneous art form

I love Adam's quote. I think every artist has "closet art." Those works that you keep to make you humble. But, I think taking risks is important.
